Carmel left her career as a teacher in mainstream education to pursue her passion to understand the human brain and how its development impacts on a child’s ability to learn.
What she discovered is that recent findings in the fields of neuro-developmental and auditory- sensory therapies have a whole lot to teach us about root causes of a wide range of ‘so called’ learning difficulties.
After immersing herself in the research she trained so she could assist some of the huge numbers of people with mis-diagnosis or non-diagnosis. Now she shares her expertise to guide others through the challenges presented.
Carmel Mullan BA Cert Ed Psych NDT INPP JST is now a leading expert in the treatment of learning disorders. Working from her practice in Ballymena, previously known as Ballymena Dyslexia Centre, Carmel makes a huge difference to the lives of children and adults.
